Coffee Maker Glossary
Coffee has a language all its own. Here are a few of the often used coffee machine terms.
Automobile Frother: gadget that instantly froths milk for coffees and lattes.

Boiler Element: electric component that heats boiler in electrical espresso coffee makers.
Cappuccino: Italian espresso based drink.
Cup Warmer: metal portion at top of espresso coffee machine where cups are placed for warming.
Dosing: describes either the variety of grams of coffee per cup or the quantity of brewed coffee per cup.
Drip Tray: Part of espresso coffee machine where coffee cup sits for filling.
Espresso: Italian black coffee which preceded specialty coffees. Abundant black coffee.
Filter Basket: Metal filter where grounds are put for brewing.
Filtered Method: process of brewing coffee with a filter, coffee is different from the water.
A round coffee maker in which ground coffee is steeped then filtered. Coffee premises are pressed to the bottom of the pot with the plunger.

Tamping: act of pushing ground coffee into filter basket.
Vacuum coffee machine: maker using vacuum process to make coffee.
Traditional espresso coffee machine: machine that is not a bean to cup automated model.
Water Filter: filters contaminants from water for much better coffee taste.
Water Font: nozzle utilized to dispense water from device boiler.
Water Softener: filters lime and minerals from water, avoiding develop of scales in the coffee machine. This is a need to have for anyone utilizing difficult water.
